What we store
- Your settings live in localStorage on your device.
- Saved cities, currencies, units, and theme preferences never leave your browser.
- We don't run servers that store user profiles or track behavior.
API calls
- Weather and exchange-rate data is fetched anonymously from third-party APIs.
- Those services may log IP addresses for rate limiting, but we never see that information.
- No personal identifiers are included in requests.
Location access
- Location prompts are opt-in and only used when you enable them.
- The coordinates stay in memory long enough to fetch weather for “your location.”
- We never store or transmit your location beyond that live request.
Tracking & analytics
- No cookies or trackers are embedded.
- No analytics scripts run in the background.
- No third parties receive telemetry or usage data.
Your control
- Clear your browser storage to reset everything instantly.
- Export your configuration from Settings for safekeeping or migration.
- Because data is local, you decide what stays and what goes.
